Recent federal policy has made it difficult for many of the immigrant learners who attend our IHM Literacy Center to pay the program fee for class. The IHM Center does not want to turn students away — students tell them that this place is their home.
How can we help? Would our convents and/or individual sisters consider sponsoring a learner? The program fee for the remainder of this year is $50.00 per student, or $125 for an entire year. No donation is too small! I know that our IHM Center Learners would be grateful for this sponsorship and the Center Administration will be so happy to receive whatever we can send them.
Let us continue to pray for all who minister at our IHM Center and for all our immigrant brothers and sisters.
