  • Voting – Faithful Citizenship
The Catholic Church, inspired by the Good Samaritan, provides the moral framework of Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship. This document is not based on personalities or partisanship, the latest news cycle, or what’s trending on social media. Instead, it reflects the perennial role of the Church in public life in proclaiming timeless principles: the infinite worth and dignity of every human life, the common good, solidarity, and subsidiarity. Not sure what these mean? We invite you to read a copy of Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship and learn more.
  • Poverty

The key to solving a problem? Understanding it. Learn the facts about poverty in the United States, understand the root causes, and—just as important—how people are helping themselves and others out of Poverty USA.  Watch the video, The Web of Poverty below:

  • Gun Violence

We have seen what the proliferation of guns in our country has done to our society.  There is no place that is safe from gun violence today.  As a Congregation we support CeaseFire PA.  This organization lobbies state representatives and senators to support sensible gun laws.
