The Sisters in Temporary Profession
Sisters in Temporary Profession have made their first vows and live
in one of the IHM missions. They minister in the educational apostolate
of the community while continuing their preparation for perpetual
profession during weekend and summer workshops and retreats.
The two-year novitiate
prepares the Sisters for a life of loving service to God and His people. The
Novices live at Villa Maria House of Studies, the Motherhouse of the
Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and in Peru.
Postulants continue the discernment process while living with the
Sisters and entering into their life. In North America, part of this period is spent in a mission experience at one of the IHM local houses.
